Who We Are
Catherine Brady
Vocalist • Co-Songwriter
Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Catherine brings music to life through her work in stage performance, education, and private event music.
Catherine's voice is marked by its clear and pure quality. She has the ability to shift from a heavenly serenade to a soulful belt, and her repertoire covers a wide range of styles.
Adam Borecki
Producer • Co-Songwriter • Guitarist
Adam is a composer and guitarist based in southern California.
He is currently pursuing a masters degree in music composition at the University of Southern California, and he holds two bachelors degrees from Chapman University in Guitar Performance and Music Composition.
About the Duo
Where did you meet?
Catherine and Adam are both graduates of Chapman University (classes of 2011 and 2012 respectively).
They became acquaintances through the University Choir and eventually working together in projects for music technology courses as well as extra-curricular remix collaborations.
What does the name "Charming Gaze" mean?
It's actually a play on words, based on a phrase taken from their single Creature: "your charming gaze on a night like tonight [..]".
Where are you now?
Currently, Ms. Brady resides in the Bay Area and Mr. Borecki is based in Los Angeles / Orange County.
Most of the band's tracks were recorded several years ago, when both Catherine and Adam were students at Chapman University.
So, are you two a couple?
According to their Facebook profiles, there was a period of time in which Catherine and Adam were jokingly married.
However, to say that the two enjoy any sort of relationship outside of their friendly musical partnership would be an overstatement.

One of Adam's several day jobs is web design. This entire website was programmed and designed by Adam Borecki.
